It is a great honour and pleasure to welcome you to the 9th IHKS Biannual Scientific Meeting, organized by the Indonesian Hip and Knee Society (IHKS), to be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on August 20–22, 2026.

The theme of this meeting “Preserve or Replace: Optimizing Joint Longevity and Function" reflects a central question in modern orthopaedic practice. As innovation in joint preservation, musculoskeletal oncology, and arthroplasty continues to advance, orthopaedic surgeons are increasingly required to make balanced, evidence-based decisions that place long-term function and patient quality of life at the forefront.

This collaboration offers a valuable opportunity to bring together clinicians, researchers, and educators from across the region and beyond, fostering meaningful scientific exchange and professional collaboration.

The scientific program will include keynote lectures, symposia, instructional courses, and interactive discussions delivered by esteemed national and international faculty, thoughtfully designed to bridge research and daily clinical practice.

Set in the culturally rich and welcoming city of Yogyakarta, we invite you to join us for an inspiring academic experience and collegial exchange.
